Cyber Practitioner, IT Auditor, Writer, Professor, and a lover of efficiency and effectiveness
Abstract
Has almost 40 years of experience with IT and cyber in a large number of settings: From scientific computing and supercomputers, to telecom systems and real and elapsed time traffic and network monitoring, to scripting, reconciliations, security and databases. Has taught and is still teaching a large number of courses in universities, regularly gives seminars, participated and led European IT projects on Fraud detection using AI techniques, security and medical services, coordinated working groups and served as vice-president in the ITU-T QSDG Development group. Invited Speaker and/or coordinator in a large number of Conferences and workshops in three continents. Publishes in scientific and IT audit journals on topics of much current interest, including data analytics and agility. Holds an M.Sc and Ph.D from Brown University and a number of certifications(CISA, CSX-F) and contributes to exam questions for the CISA certification
